A starting picture for the practice, with the focus players highlighted. Both teams keep their 4-3-3 roles; movement and decisions develop through live play.
Organization
11v11, full pitch, two goals, both teams in 4-3-3 with normal offside. Begin after possession has drawn the press toward 3.
Practice task
3 connects 6 when possible; 6 reads the pass to 2 or another supporting route. The far winger stays ready to advance after the switch.
What to observe
The ball reaches the less crowded side before defenders can shift across, with support for the receiver.
Progression
Allow the far opposition winger to intercept the direct switch, prompting an indirect route.
