Starting picture · Blue: Northbridge · Sand: opposition · Gold rings: focus players · White dot: ball
A starting picture for the practice, with the focus players highlighted. Both teams keep their 4-3-3 roles; movement and decisions develop through live play.
Organization
11v11, full pitch, two goals, both teams in 4-3-3 with normal offside. Begin with 8 able to connect 7.
Practice task
2 chooses when to join the winger and interior against the near defenders. Use the spare player if available; keep play live in both directions.
What to observe
The extra runner creates a reachable free teammate, with 6 and the back line still connected.
Progression
The defending winger may track 2 or press 8, changing where the spare player appears.
